About Rudy NeuKerk – La Rue Tattoo – Delaware

Rudy Neukerk was born in Wilmington Delaware.  The youngest of three siblings, Rudy was always artistic, and as he got older, he was especially fascinated with the art of tattooing and piercing.  His first tattoo/piercing was done by a well known local artist and machine builder, CARL BRENNALT of Wilmington Delaware and also got him interested in the craft.  Rudy relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida, where he worked as an apprentice where he learned the art of piercing under the late JEFF BROWN, a ” Gauntet Trained Piercer”, at TATTOO EMPORIUM, owned by Rob and Kim Glazier.  Rudy was then given the opportunity and privilege to apprentice under EVIL DON SENEKER of EVIL DON TATTOOS, in ST. Petesburg, FL and DAN PRYOR pf SEVEN SEAS TATTOO in San Diego, California , where Rudy learned technical and artistic styles of tattooing, and to respect the art, be humble, and to also have an open mind.
Rudy then had the great opportunity to work for the late LOU CERCERE owner and operator of INK FACTORY in St. Pete Beach, Florida.  Rudy then relocated to bradenton florida where he began to work at SACRED GROUNDS in Bradenton, Florida owned by Brad and Shannon Jenkins.  During that time Rudy attended many conventions and improved his technique.  After many years of learning his craft, Rudy finally  became the owner and operator of his own shop, FU MANCHU TATTOOS, in Bradenton, Florida.  Two years later Rudy and his family made the decison to relocate back to Wilmington, Delaware, Where he then began to work for TOMMY CATHERS owner and operator of ISLAND INK of Grasonville, Maryland and REVOLT TATTOO in New Castle, Delaware.  Rudy continues his craft and is now owner and operator of LA RUE TATTOO.  Rudy currently resides in Wilminton Delaware with his wife Laura and two children Vada and Seth.
Rudy has been piercing for 16 years and tattooing for 15 years he is certified in blood bourne pathogens and sterile procedures Delaware La Rue Tattoo.
